- [Instructor] As you've seen by now, ServiceNow has a ton of applications and modules, especially if you have specific roles. Instead of having to scroll through this entire menu of apps, wouldn't it be great if you can save a personal list of your most frequently used items? That's where favorites come in. Many of the tasks we fulfill in IT are repetitive. Check this list, examine this form, search for these data in tables. Once you've accomplished a task a few times, it becomes even more repetitive. Favorites are a way of capturing a ServiceNow query so you can repeat it with one click. As I select the favorite icon, you can see I can execute a stored set of commands. Here I have one, the home favorite icon. When I click that, it will display the ITIL homepage. Let's say you're an incident manager and you want to easily see critical incidents.
