- [Instructor] Many organizations configure email notifications and align them with events. A task was opened, a task was assigned to you, a task was completed, so on and so forth. You might find these notifications helpful or overwhelming or somewhere in between. By utilizing your options in ServiceNow preferences, you can subscribe or unsubscribe from most notifications to keep your email stream manageable. Let's return to the preferences menu within your avatar icon menu and select notifications. Opening the notifications menu, we'll initially show a truncated list of options in two categories, general settings, and settings specific to the next experience. The next experience settings are tailored to interface alerts, notably banner notifications and badge icon counts.
