- [Instructor] The user interface of any system can have a positive or negative impact on the overall experience, depending on how settings and properties are enabled. While there are standard settings that make navigation of ServiceNow universally simple, there are ways to personalize your experience. In this video, you'll learn about some key user interface settings that will allow you to make cosmetic changes suited to your personal preferences. When you log in, the main screen, by default, shows your last visited dashboard. Dashboards are essentially multiple reports or queries organized into widgets. With dashboards, widgets can be resized. And widgets load only when visible. In the banner header, the Preferences gear icon appears within the user profile menu on the far right.
