The Text tool
- [Instructor] Add custom text to your project. The text tool is found under basic shapes, as well as under text and numbers, click and drag the text tool onto the work plane. I will use the shortcut key F to focus in, and then let's take a look at the inspector. We can enter our own text. I'll type hello exclamation point and choose from a couple of very basic fonts. I'll use Serif. You can adjust the height with the slider or by typing a value. Increasing the bevel makes the font bold, and then it also allows you to add segments on the top, that rounds, or bevels, the top edge and as well as the bottom edge. So in addition to the text tool, you can also assemble text using the characters that you'll find in the text and numbers drop down.
