- [Instructor] Let's talk about one of Lightroom's most powerful features, which is the auto masking feature. Now, this feature is so exciting that we're going to spend a couple of videos on all of its possibilities. Now, I've already gone ahead and I've created an album here, which is called Masking, and I've added two images to this album. Now you can find these images here in the sub folder 03-03 masking. There is a pelican and then there's an image of a Thai beach. Now, let's get started. I'm going to start out here with the pelican image and clearly this is not the best image I could have taken. So the pelican is way too dark, simply because I was in the wrong place at the wrong time of the day, but I still wanted to take that image of this bird. Now I need to basically light up and brighten this bird here in order for me to see more of its detail. Now, how do you go about this? Now, typically you would think, hmm, you know what?
