(upbeat electronic music) - [Instructor] The first step to achieve this composition is by extracting the polar bear from its background. To do this, I'll go up to the select menu and then choose subject which will find and select the polar bear. Now if I zoom in just a little bit here, you'll notice that I have two gaps here that are not included in the selection. For this, I'll simply switch to the lasso tool, hold down the Option key on Mac, which is Alt on Windows. I'm just going to come in and then drag out this selection and let go. And then do the exact same thing here on the right hand side, like so. And now I can let go of the Option or the Alt key. With this current selection, I'm going to choose select and then select and mask to enter the select and mask dialogue screen. Now there is a bit of fur here in this polar bear image so what I need to do is first of all, click the refine hair option, which is going to go ahead and make this area a lot better than it was before.
