Let's continue the auto masking functionalities that we've started in the previous video. Now, I've gone ahead and added another image to the same album, and the image I added is the one you can find here. In the 03-04-faces subfolder, you'll find man-smiling.jpeg. Now, this is an image of a person, which means that Lightroom is going to give me specific functionalities based on people. So if I go back and revisit the masking functionality, look what happens. There is a people scan that's currently being run on the image, and it found one person. Now, if I had an image with two, three, or five individuals, it will actually list up every single person in this picture, which is kind of cool, because this means that I now have the ability of selecting properties based on that one person.
