- [Presenter] Our prototype is ready for a usability test. But what are we trying to test here? We discussed in our earlier lesson why and how a usability test helps in building a better product. A usability test is a test that's essentially conducted for the team to understand whether or not our design product is usable, easy to understand, and intuitive. That should be the goal of the test. Having a defined goal for your test will give you an extremely valuable feedback. Therefore, have a few points in mind to focus on your goal, and measure it with your goal. For example, is the user able to tap on the plus icon to add a dessert? The usability test can be either moderated or unmoderated. In a moderated test, you interact with the participant on a live video, and give them instructions when interacting, with the help of a script.
