Share files quickly with AirDrop
- [Instructor] You can quickly send files wirelessly from one Mac to another, or even to an iPhone or iPad using AirDrop. You don't need passwords and you don't need to deal with network configuration. You just need your devices to be fairly close together and you need both Bluetooth and wifi enabled on those devices. So I have a Finder window open here, and there's a file in this folder that I want to send to one of my other computers. To do that, I'm going to open another Finder window. So, it's easier if you have two Finder windows open. So, I'll go to the file menu up at the top and choose new Finder window, and then I'm going to move them so I can see them roughly side-by-side. And in this new window, in the favorites category on the left, I will select AirDrop. And this shows me other AirDrop capable devices that are in range.
