Set up multiple user accounts
- [Nicholas] When you turn on your Mac computer, you start at the Sign In screen, where you need to type in your password which signs you into your user account. Your user account is where all of your files and configurations are stored. But if you share a computer with another person, you may want to set up multiple user accounts. When each person signs into their own account, they will see a separate setup and configuration: different settings, different documents, different photos, different music libraries, and more. Let's start by going to System Settings. So I'll open the System menu in the top left, go to System Settings. From here, I'll scroll down to the category for users and groups. And here, you'll see a list of all of the user accounts set up on your computer. When you first set up your Mac, you will have one user account.
