- We can't talk about platforms without talking about APIs. They're one of the interfaces that allow partners to integrate with the platform's capabilities. You can have the best capabilities and features within your platform, but without solid APIs it will be challenging to integrate with them and drive value. So what is an API anyways? API stands for application programming interface, and they enable different forms of connections to form between software products so that data can be exchanged, so that actions can be taken, and much more.
