- MAYA can be a very productive package. And one of the tools that it has that allows you to be more productive are commands that happen at the mouse. Now, these come in two categories, one is called the hot box. The other is called a marking menu. So, let's start off with the hot box. You can get to the hot box just by hovering your mouse over a view port and holding down the space bar. And you'll see that we get this big menu system. Now, you have to hold the space bar. If I just tap the space bar, you'll see the scene hops out to a four view. And then if I want get back, I can just hover my mouse over the view port I want and tap it again. But if I hold it down, I get a really nice menu here. And you'll see that this menu is essentially all the menus in Maya. So here, you'll see, we've got a bunch of menus but if I use this pull down, you'll see I can change those menus. So, if I want to go from modeling to…
