Working with the Attribute editor
- [Instructor] The channel box is a great way to precisely position your objects, but if you want to go further, you'll need to use what's called the attribute editor. Now this is located along that same panel as the channel box. You can click on this tab here or we have a button here in the middle that allows you to toggle that on or off. Now just like with the channel box, this will be empty until you select an object. So I'm going to go ahead and select my blimp. So let's click on the blimp and this will bring up the attributes for that object. Now you'll see that this particular object has a number of tabs and these are everything that Maya uses to define the shape and the texture of the object. Now you can navigate these tabs by going through these arrows here and I'm going to navigate all the way to the left and select the blimp.
