- [Instructor] So what is Windows Admin Center? Well, it's two component parts. You've got the management gateway and you've got a web browser extension. You connect using the extension to the gateway, which may or may not be on the same machine, and thereafter you have a graphical interface which is based in a browser for performing all your compute management. So you can see on this graphic here that it's a fairly easy system to navigate. On the left-hand side, you've got a navigation pane that contains all of the features that you typically want to manage on a workstation or a server. Whilst we're talking about the difference between workstations and servers, it's worth mentioning or reminding you that on a Windows Server computer, the Windows Remote Management interface is enabled through the firewall and the service is already listening.
