- [Instructor] If you have a large number of Windows 10 devices that you want to upgrade to Windows 11, you probably ought to consider a pilot deployment. Running a pilot helps you determine whether your hardware meets the minimum requirements. You can check whether peripherals that you have are compatible with Windows 11 and that there are drivers available. You can ensure that your apps are compatible and that skills are in place, both for the users to take advantage of the new operating system and for your support staff to help them make that transition. Let's examine the hardware requirements for Windows 11. First of all, the processor, that's probably the most significant difference. It needs to be an eighth generation dual core processor or newer or better. Now that's perfectly feasible. Eighth gen is quite an old processor now, in fact, but some of you are very older. Windows 10 machines might struggle to meet that requirement. Memory is four gigabytes, that's not really enough…
