Describe storage account options
- [Instructor] All of your Azure storage objects are stored in a storage account that's in your subscription, and there are several different types of storage accounts available. The first is the standard general-purpose v2 storage account, and this is the type of storage account that's recommended for most purposes. The general-purpose v2 storage account is a standard account for blob storage and Azure files, and also for queue storage and table storage, two additional storage options that you have in Azure. It offers all of the different redundancy options that we just discussed. Azure also offers premium storage account types, the first being the premium block blobs storage type. Now say that three times fast. This storage account type is for block blobs and append blobs that are in blob storage. And it offers both LRS and ZRS redundancy options.
