- Probably the two most common types of services in Azure are compute services, or services that use CPU, memory, disk space, and so on, and networking services. In this lesson, describe Azure compute and networking services, we talk about the different compute types available in Azure, including Azure virtual machines. We then talk about all the different options you have when using virtual machines, and we cover the resources that are required for virtual machines in Azure. We cover the options you have for hosting applications in Azure, including Azure app service, containers, and more. We introduce the concept of virtual networking and why it's important in Azure, and we define public and private endpoints.
