- [Instructor] Let's look at implementing privileged identity management. First, I will assign the privileged role for Azure Resources. Here's my Microsoft Entra ID on Azure portal. In the left menu, click Identity Governance. Under Privileged Identity Management, we can assign Microsoft Entra roles, formally Azure AD roles, or Azure resource roles. Click Azure resources. Click Azure resources. Here I already have the Azure demo subscription identified. You can click Discover resources to onboard the resources for management. Click Resource type. We can add a resource group. Click the resource group rg-demo. In the left menu under Management, click Assignments. Click Add assignments at the top. For accessing resource group, I can select the role, for example, contributor. I will then select a member, for example, Morgan King. Click Next. For the assignment type, I will select eligible.
