- [Instructor] Let's look at managing groups in Microsoft Entra ID. Here's my Microsoft Entra ID on Azure portal. Click Groups. I can see a list of existing groups. Select Group Finance. On the Overview page, we can see membership type as assigned, group type as a security, and a group memberships. Click Properties. Here we can update group name, group description. We can't change group type, but we can change membership type from assigned, for example, to dynamic user. Then you need to add a dynamic query. We can select group write back state. This is for thinking with your on-premises active directory. Once you enable Microsoft Entra Connect. Under Members, we can add members. Here's a list of users, groups, devices, and enterprise applications. You can search and select a member. You can also do bulk operations to import, remove, or download members.
