- [Instructor] Now we've talked about managing users in our Entra ID tenant. Now let's take a look at how we create a user account. Now, you'll remember that a user account is a security principle. Essentially, the mechanism that you use to authenticate to your Entra ID. Once you've authenticated, you will then be authorized to access all of the resources to which you've been given explicit or implicit rights to. So if I go onto users, all users, I have the option here to create a new user. Now I can either create new user or invite an external user. Creating a new user means that we're going to create an internal user in our organization, also known as a member user. If we invite an external user, it means that we are inviting a security principle that is external to an organization to collaborate within our organization.
