Managing self-service passwords
- [Instructor] Now that we've discussed a little bit about identity protection and the key concepts around securing user accounts and group accounts, let's take a look at one of these functionalities specifically, which is self-service password reset. SSPR, or self-service password reset, is the functionality that allows a user to reset their own password through a secure portal, therefore limiting the use of support calls to potential help desks that would require previously an administrator or a technical support technician to reset the password of a user. In this case, there are two steps for this process. First, the user needs to register for self-service password reset, and then they can go ahead once they've registered and reset their own password.
