Here we'll discuss what they are, their significance in IT, and how they benefit us. When a product claims to support industry standards, it essentially means that it allows us to use popular technical specifications for developing and running applications. These technical specifications are known, tried, tested, and widely embraced by organizations in the industry. It is important for a product to support industry standards as it ensures that you can leverage existing skills your employees already have and avoid the use of proprietary solutions. Finding and hiring candidates who have a good knowledge of the subject is also easier when you're using open standards.
