- [Instructor] Solutions. Solutions are how processes are packaged in the Power Platform. You start by creating your solution, then add your components within the solution. This is an important step, as some components cannot be added after a solution is created. Then we will talk about solution publisher. There are two solution types, managed, which is used to capture updates from an unmanaged solution and used to support ALM, which stands for application lifecycle management, and unmanaged, which is created and used in development environments and can be exported as managed or unmanaged.
