What is Power BI?
- [Instructor] Power BI is a data analytics tool. It provides business analytics on the data that we've brought in from one or more sources in the same location. Visualizations on this operational data can help us drive business decisions so that we're making informed decision based on the true data that we have in our organization. This allows us to combine data from multiple sources and creates a consolidated perspective on that data. So with Power BI, from a practical perspective, we're going to connect several different sources of data. We're going to transform that data into something that is usable. We'll do some normalization perhaps so that we can analyze it and compare it. We're going to relate data that may not be related in the wild, so we can see them in the same place at the same time, we'll create reports based on those visualizations of the data so we can see either in tabular form or perhaps in a…
