- [Bonnie] Hi, Bonnie Biafore here. Suppose you don't see task bars in your Gantt chart that you know should be there. This week, I'll show you how to coax those task bars out of hiding. Here, I'm looking at a project and I'm using a custom view, but it's basically a Gantt chart view. And you can use something like this or any other Gantt chart view you want. Suppose I want to emphasize a few key tasks in this project, let's say finalize lease and obtain permit. What I want to do is I'm going to add the marked field to the table. The marked field is basically like a flag field, so I'm going to right-click the heading where it says Duration, and then choose Insert Column on the shortcut menu. I start to type the name of the field, and when I see it, I can click it to add it to the table. The values for this field are just yes or no, so I'm going to select the marked cell for Finalized Lease, I'm going to click the down arrow and choose Yes. That field is now marked.
