Privacy protection with Microsoft Priva

- [Instructor] Privacy has become a major concern in today's business world. It goes beyond meeting regulatory requirements. It's essential for building organizational trust. Now let's look at the privacy protection capabilities provided by Microsoft Priva. The core of a privacy protection is processing personal data lawfully, fairly and transparently. It covers consent and collection. Before collecting personal data, you must obtain clear consent from individuals so they understand what data you are collecting and for what purposes. Also, only collect data that is necessary to minimize risks. Storage and transfer. You must store personal data securely using technologies like encryption. When transferring data, you must prevent data leaks and complying with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, such as cross-border data transfer rules. Data access. You must limit access to sensitive personal information and prevent unauthorized disclosure. Data sharing. You must obtain agreements from individuals before sharing their personal data with third parties. Also only share data when it's necessary and for a legitimate purpose. In data retention, you must properly manage the lifecycle of personal data. Retain them only when necessary or required by regulatory requirements and securely delete them after the retention period. The key to protect privacy is privacy by design and by default. In other words, we need to have privacy in mind from the beginning of our business and system design.
