- [Instructor] You can use virtual backgrounds or other video effects to enhance how people see you in a Teams meeting. I have a meeting on my schedule with a coworker, so I'm just going to click the join button to join that. And of course we start at the join screen. So you can enable your video effects here on the join screen, or you can set it after you join the meeting. If you want to set it from this join screen before you're in the actual meeting, you can click this button near the bottom that says effects and avatars. In the past, this button has had other labels including background filters, but I'll click that. Scrolling down a bit, we can see a tab for video effects and for avatars. Now in the avatar tab, you could design an animated character that represents you in a meeting. So if you don't want people to see you on camera, you can replace yourself with an avatar that people can see during the meeting,…
