- [Instructor] Let's talk about some of the advanced storage options in Windows. We will start with storage space. A storage space combines several physical logical disks into one storage space or one storage pool and you can manage this as a single entity, so this way you can scale your application storage requirement. It has two main components the storage pool that we already talked about and also these storage spaces. So let's go over the storage pool one more time. As we mentioned before it aggregates several physical disks into a logical disk. The pool can contain physical disks of any type or size. Also, a single physical disk can only belong to one storage pool. Next, we have the storage spaces. The storage spaces are virtual disks created from this free space of the storage pool.
