- Hi, I'm Derek Chow. And this is Monday productivity pointers. One of the most important aspects of giving a good presentation is to practice. It's not enough to simply create your slides and hope for the best. You have to know your slides in detail and the talking points you need to cover. PowerPoint includes a feature called presenter coach that helps you practice your presentation. And in real time, can evaluate your pacing and pitch and even point out things like your use of filler words like "umm and ahh", or let you know when you're using too much informal speech or if you're being too wordy or even warn you if you're just reading the text on your slides. After opening your presentation, go to the slideshow tab, and here you'll find rehearse with coach. Once you click it, you presentation will go into full screen present mode. When you're ready to start practicing, you can click start rehearsing.…
