Quickly free up space on your Mac
- [Derek] Hi, I'm Derek Chow, and welcome again to Monday Productivity Pointers. If you've been using a Mac for a while, you might find that your hard drive is starting to fill up and you're running out of space. All kinds of content, from movies to photos, and even text documents can start to add up over time. Hunting through your hard drive manually to look for large files can be extremely time-consuming, so fortunately, macOS has a built in feature that lets you quickly identify large files so you can determine if they need to be deleted or moved to free up space. You just need to be running macOS Sierra or later to access this tool. Start by going to the Apple menu and choosing About this Mac. From here, you can find and check out all sorts of information about your particular machine, from its processor speed to the type of graphics card it uses, to how much RAM is installed.
