Changing the 3D method used
- There are many different methods for 3D, and it's going to depend upon the type of glasses or screens that you use. After Effects can work with virtually all types of 3D, whether you use active glasses or projection methods that are in theaters, or the method that will work with web video. Let me show you. Simply select the Stereo 3D Controls Layer and twirl it down and take a look at the options. You'll see that there's an effect applied. First up is the 3D controls. Here you can see what's going on with the convergence options and the camera separation. Now, these have been automatically set, but if you need to, you can tweak it and take a look at the depth of the scene. Typically, the 3D controls are left as is, but what you'll likely want to tweak is the 3D glasses effect.
