Document vs. create: Crafting a winning video content strategy
- 99% of people never create video content for two reasons, lack of time and not knowing what to create. But here's the truth. Stop thinking about what you need to create, focus on what you can document. You don't need to set aside five hours to brainstorm ideas. The content is already happening all over your life, you just need to notice it. For example, if two creators reach out asking how to price their LinkedIn content, that's a video idea right there. Content's everywhere. It's in the questions customers ask you. It's in the problems you solve with your team. It's the random things that happen during your day. Keep content top of mind and jot down ideas as they come up. Authenticity beats production every single time. So document your life. Show real moments, raw thoughts, as it's most relatable. A great example is a day in the life video. And remember, documenting doesn't have to be live. If you're too busy in the moment, capture the idea and shoot it later. Start with what's in front of you and hit record.
