How salespeople produce short-form content
I know the big reason that many of you don't get active on LinkedIn. It's about producing content. Producing content can be very, very, very nerve wracking, especially for sellers, right? You've got these network of high level professionals, people that you've connected with, and you're nervous. These people are industry experts. These people know more than I do. But I'm going to give you three quick ways to produce short-form content. Number one, repurpose your company content. Your company is probably putting out content in a super, super long form. All you need to do is go and pull a couple of insights out from that. "Hey, if you're thinking about this trend in HR, here are the top two things." Right? And then you can pull from your company details. You don't have to write the whole long piece of content. You can do that. Number two, ChatGPT. If you all haven't checked out ChatGPT, check it out. You can go and type in, "What are the top influencers of VPs of Operations and Manufacturing in 2023?" And it'll give you some insights. I'm telling you, ChatGPT is an absolute cheat code. Number three, conversations with your customers. This is one of my absolute favorites. Imagine you have a good conversation like, "Hey, I really enjoyed this part of what you talked about. Do you mind if I share a little bit of my takeaways?" When you do that, your customer's like, "Oh yeah, like, wow, like I'm smart, I'm an influencer, right?" And so just think, producing content, you don't have to have all the answers. You don't need to be perfect. crowdsource, right? Crowdsource from your company, crowdsource from ChatGPT, all right? And crowdsource from your customers.
