- [Instructor] As mentioned in the previous video, work on NFRs can expand in size easily if we don't carefully manage it. When we have more unfamiliar work on non-functional requirements that is difficult to size there are two ways we can go. Firstly, we can overestimate or conservatively estimate the size or the effort required which gives our teams that extra buffer for investigating troubleshooting conversations around processes and some of the other extra considerations we mentioned in the previous video. However, you might have tight timeframes or you might have managers requesting that we really go as fast as we can in this case due to an external deadline of some kind or due to customer demand. In that case, we can make our sizing as small as possible and we can raise risks along the way. Anytime we add a piece of work on NFR to our backlog, but we feel that there are extra considerations we're not allowing time…
