Insert a document
- [Instructor] Many types of files can be inserted in a notebook page, including an Excel workbook, a PowerPoint presentation, a Word document, and even a PDF. We'll start the process by going to the page where we want to insert the attached file or the printout to. Next, we'll go to the Insert ribbon, and we're either going to choose File or Printout. We're going to start here with File. Now, we're going to select File and then you'll browse out to where the file is saved. The file that I happen to need is an Excel workbook that's here on the desktop, so I'll select it, and then I'll select Open. Now, this insert file process that we're following is going to present you with some choices, and this file command that we chose is what you'll want to use if you're inserting an Office type of a file, like an Excel workbook, a PowerPoint presentation, or a Word document.
