- [Instructor] Linking notes helps you quickly get to related content. That content could be notes somewhere else within the notebook, it could be a website or a file. I've started a to-do list here, and I'd like to create a link for the word images. So I'm going to go ahead and select the text and then go to the Insert ribbon. There's a group here called Links and that this is the link command. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Control-K, and we'll take you to the same menu. So here's the link menu. Now I already have the text to display. That's the text that I selected. If I didn't have texts there, I could type in the texts that I would like to be the clickable link. For the address field, if I'm linking to a website, I can either type that in or paste it in if I've copied it to the clipboard, I can also browse the web to go out and find it as you're seeing that I'm pointing to this now.
