Deliverables of a Work-Out or Kaizen event

- Kaizen are not done for the sake of activities. They're done to deliver outputs or deliverables. But, if you have no idea what the deliverable is for the event or the individual sessions, the groups will wander aimlessly throughout each day going every which way but the right direction. Just like a sailboat without a rudder, sailing in the wrong direction is a waste of time and effort. As a facilitator, you must plan and determine what desired outputs or deliverables are required in advance. This is so you can tailor the agenda of activities to produce those outputs. Otherwise, you may not have the right activities lined up for the Kaizen event. So, just how do you determine the desired outputs or deliverables from a Kaizen event?
