Hosting a great event is only half the battle. Understanding its impact is really what takes your efforts to the next level. In this lesson, I'll share the key metrics to measure your event’s success when it comes to your attendees and event sponsors. The first and most important measure of success is attendee satisfaction. Happy attendees are a clear sign your event met the mark. Once you gather all your survey results and engagement metrics, look at the data. Assess attendee engagement during the event. It is a powerful indicator of how well your marketing worked. For this area, start with participation metrics. If your event was in-person, analyze check-in rates and session attendance. For virtual events, review data like how long people stayed, what sessions had the most viewers, and the number of questions asked during Q&A.
