- So how do you get a good sense of the internal landscape of your company and what it means for your team? You need to take an outside-in and inside-out view. I recommend checking out three types of information, strategic and financial details for your company, the business and talent strategies and priorities, and direct insights from leaders across the organization. Let's look at each type in a bit more detail. Start by focusing on the publicly available strategic and financial details. This will give you an insight into your company as a business, including the strategic choices it's making and why, and where they're having successes and challenges.
