- [Instructor] In the last video, I showed you how you can turn on the option to tell other people that you prefer accessible content. But what does that mean if you are the recipient and you see a message that somebody wants accessible content? What does that mean? You can help do your part to make sure that your emails are inclusive and can be read by everyone. A best practice involves the use of visuals such as images. It's best if the image doesn't contain the sole purpose of sending the email, such as a flyer. It's a good practice to always include the text somewhere in there too. It's also a good practice to include alternative text with any visual. Alt text describes the image to those using a screen reader, and Microsoft Outlook makes it easy to add alt text by selecting your image, right clicking on it, and choosing add alternate text.
