And the delivery relationship starts with the transition of services. A transition plan developed by the outsourcer provides the information required to transition the outsourced services from the client or another vendor to the outsourcer. This plan will support the transition of the people, assets, and processes. Here are the common components of a good transition plan. The overall transition approach, team transition, communications to staff, customers, and vendors, facility lease and asset management, service level baselines, and conditions for cutover.
