- [Instructor] In this movie, we'll be working with this portrait that I captured, and the way that I captured it and processed it, I wanted it to have this dark, moody feel. Yet I want to explore how we can add three masks that can make this even better. So this one's captured with natural light, is captured in this kind of garage carport type of an area. You can see the concrete pillar behind her and the concrete wall. So how can we improve this? Well if we go over to our mask icon and click on that, we can select the subject. With the subject selected, we can just brighten her up a little bit. Sometimes what happens is that we get accustomed to seeing something one way, and we think, "Okay, well that's all that we can do." But here, you can see how this little adjustment that we've made already is starting to add some more value to the image. Next, I want some light traveling from kind of top right to lower left.
