- All right, I hope you've been having fun and you're following along. I can't wait to see what you guys make. Don't forget, post your work so I can see it and show me what you're up to. So what we're going to do though, is we are going to jump in and make this look even more real by adding shadows and highlights. It's really fun. It's actually pretty simple. So let's go ahead and jump in. If you've been following along, it should look something like this, or you can open up Coffee Bag 3.psd in the exercise files, and we're going to jump in. So here's what we're going to do. We are going to grab that base layer and we're going to hit Command + J to jump cut that to a new layer right above to make a copy, or just right click and click duplicate layer, whatever you want to do. And we are going to hit Command + Shift and the Right Bracket key or Control + Shift on a PC and the Right Bracket key to throw this layer all the way to the top. All right, let's desaturate this.
