- [Instructor] Did you know that you can use Power BI to create a colored grid similar to this co-occurrence matrix? Matrices in Power BI let you drill down conditionally color and show cross-tabular data. So let's explore. Now, let's create a new tab called Table because a matrix in Power BI is just a type of table. And then let's click on Table so that we can compare between the two. Tables are exactly what you would expect. They are lists of data, and the data aggregate by default. So if we pull in Product, and then Profit. For example, let's say average profit, we just see six rows and a total, which in that case actually is not a total, it's an average, but still. And then if we drag Date in there, we see more rows because Power BI is trying to give us the least meaningful data for what we have requested it. It's always grouping in a table. It can always be useful actually to add any column and just make that a count. It's not relevant that it's a count of sales, it's just a row…
