(upbeat music) - [Instructor] So how did you get on? It was a tricky one. As a reminder, the task here was to understand the data and then create a single visual to compare products on average profit and the drivers of average profit. Now, let's bear in mind some key rules. We know that the dollar profit goes up if dollar sales go up and dollar profit goes down if the cost of goods sold goes up. Okay, we had those formula, didn't we, in the challenge. And we also have to bear in mind with this challenge that averages are very easily distorted when grouped, and it can be unclear as well to your users precisely what you have averaged over when you're dealing with group averages. One thing that I bore in mind when I solved this challenge myself is that if you string all of the formulas together that I gave you, you end up with profit is gross sales minus discounts minus the cost of goods sold.
