- Discovering process improvement opportunities with process mining can lead to quick wins and while these can create value, they're often small wins. That should not be the end goal. I assert that the longer term goal for the use of this technology should be process maturity. Process maturity means that a process is known inside and out. A mature process is also optimal, efficient, and stable, so it's not subject to significant structural changes.
