- [Instructor] Software developers can lose a tremendous amount of time choosing the right programming language, not knowing that the language they use is less important than their ability to solve problems and create useful programs. A solid base of mathematical knowledge is essential in many areas, from algorithms, data science, machine learning to computer graphics. In this course, we'll cover key concepts of algebra and calculus. We'll continue by exploring sequences and series while solving problems using Python. You will learn vectors and matrices and will also demonstrate probability and statistics functions and manipulations. Hi, I'm Terezija Semenski. I've been a mathematician and a software developer for over a decade. By the end of this course, you'll have a deep understanding of the foundations of mathematics.
