Testing port forwarding
From the course: Protecting Your Network with Open-Source Software
Testing port forwarding
- [Instructor] Let's test if port forwarding is working. We're back to the Windows host, sharing the same subnet with the Ubuntu router host external interface, ENS 32. Let's try to connect to our web server in the DMZ through the Ubuntu router host using our web browser. Just type the external network interface IP of the Ubuntu router host, 192.168.70.128. Press enter. We're now connected to the web server running on the Ubuntu host in the DMZ, behind the Ubuntu router host. Congratulations.
