- [Instructor] Using the right tool at the right time for the right job leads to my next principle. Nobody cares how you did it, they only care that you did it. This principle supports the entire concept of a prototype. It is the desire of returning to the team with a button interaction and saying, "Here's what I envision." Not a single millisecond will be spent considering where the prototype was created. The resulting discussion will center around the button's appearance, functionality, and usability. Based on the feedback, the button undergoes several iterations and ultimately ends up in the trash once the development team takes over. The principle for MAC is a MAC-only application. I'm willing to bet not one person will ask where that button was created, which leads me to this tool. When it comes to prototyping motion, Figma can do the simple stuff: clicks, transitions, and rudimentary motion. Figma does not let you dig into exactly how things move.
