- You did it. You wrote the perfect pitch offering your CEO for commentary on a hot industry topic. You had the right reporter, the right email, and you timed it perfectly with the news cycle. You sent it off only to find that hours later the reporter wrote the story and did not include you, but they included your competition. Bummer, you end up speaking to the reporter later and ask why.
